BENEFIT CONCERT SUPPORTS ZIMBABWEAN MUSICIANS

Kick up your heels to rousing marimba and dazzling mbira music while
supporting Zimbabwean families on Saturday, March 29, 7-11pm, at the
Bellingham Senior Center, 315 Halleck St. Tickets on sale at the door:
$10 general/$8 students/seniors/free six and under.

Bands include Whidbey Island's Ruzivo Marimba; Seattle's Anzanga
Marimba and Shumba Youth Marimba, Bellingham's Mhuri Marimba and
Zimbabwean master mbira player Musekiwa Chingodza.

Proceeds go to the Matanho Project to help Zimbabwean master
musicians and teachers support their families by bringing them to the
US for teaching and concert tours.  Info: www.zimfest.org and
